I have a few plants that have damage caused by cold weather, do I trim them back to the healthy part of the stem? Thanks

I would trim them to healthy part, and then dab some cinnamon on those cut ends.

I've had the same problem. I cut back to the caudex.... all of the branches were soft. I have removed all of the soft tissue. Is there a chance that it will sprout new branches?

If you can post a pic of what is left, that will help determine if your plant might survive.

Carter, thanks for the offer. I immediately performed the surgery on the plants and they are all sending out new sprouts, I didn't lose any. It is getting warm and they are doing well.
