Those kidds are adorable!

snow here too but it was of the 'average' kind - lot of drifting but started melting right away. Chickens are laying steadily - eggs going to waste here.

Still trying to find a house to move to - to be closer to family (gulf coast). Waited on a short sale for two months+ then it fell through. Very disappointing.

Spring is coming so I've got to focus on the gardens and orchard...the seasons move on whether we're ready or not.

There cross This year we had two young bucks in with the herd One is a Boer cross 70% Boer the other is heavy Spanish influence. Pure bred Boers don't have the hardiness to stay healthy in real wet years

I used to have some Nubians, Alpines, and a Saanen x Nubian cross. It was always a fun time when the kids arrived. I ate goat for the first time last fall. It was great.
