I wouldn't expect it to thrive in my soil and climate, but I'd hoped that if I could get just one or two started, they might reseed for me. I've never seen corydalis grown or sold locally. I ordered 3 plants last year. They arrived nice and big and healthy. And they bolted immediately when our real heat and humidity arrived.
I tried wintersowing corydalis lutea last year (seeds from Hirts). Not a sprout. This year I wintersowed corydalis sempervivrens. (seeds from Summer Hill). I have 2 sprouts.
I should beg fresh seeds from someone who grows it. My results might be a lot better. But that doesn't mean they'd survive our hot, humid summers.
