I just love the bladderworts in my farm pond. Almost as cool as the blooms is the fact it's a carnivores plant that eats itty bitty organisms!

Oh, I love bladderworts. I'm always searching them out in the wild. I haven't tried growing them around my ponds, though. How compatible are they with fish?

Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.

I know this is a pretty old thread, but...
Once established, bladderworts are fine with fish.

I gave mine away due to a move. My friend promised not to get rid of it without asking me if I wanted some. When I had my ponds reset, and asked, he had thrown them all out.

I've bought it twice on line since. Not impressed with the microscope portions sent to me. Anyone have a good source for bladderwort?
