Butterflies
I have just received seed of Texas Native, Bush Sunflower - Simsia calvar. There were no instructions on the seed packet. I can't find anything online as to whether this seed requires cold stratification.

If anyone has grown this plant, could you advise as to proper germination techniques.

Anxious to try it as a low maintenance seed source for birds and a nectar plant for the butterflies. Hurray!

My thanks, Mary
