For a long time I haven't been able to add tags to multi-plant images - I draw the box and enter the plant name, but the tag does not appear. I used not to have this problem, and wondered if there is something that can be done to fix the glitch? Am I doing something wrong, is it my laptop (MacBook Air), is it a website issue?

Thanks.

I've noticed that most landscape photos are not labeled, which rather defeats the purpose in my mind. I really like to be able to research a plant, open its database entry, and find several examples of how it has been utilized in gardens. Without the labels, the photos are just a flash in the pan, seen today but never again. Hopefully this can be sorted out and folks will go back and label their photos.

I think it may be a Safari issue (it doesn't work for me). But @dave is aware of the situation, I think.

I agree with Deb that the labels make a huge difference.

I agree. Love the labels, and unlabeled pics are pretty, but pretty useless.

I guess I am hard nosed. I would like to see a requirement to supply a label on at least one aspect/plant of the multiplant images. It is frustrating to see the pictures but not know the focus or what plants I am viewing.

Is that possible? @dave

Some time ago I went through and rewrote that feature. It's hard to make webpages that work with drawing/dragging/dropping to work across all browsers.

I don't know why Macs can't work with this and I don't have a mac so it's not easy for me to troubleshoot.

We do have some computer savvy members with Macs. Maybe someone will be able to help out sometime. Meanwhile, thank you for all you and Trish and the kids do.

I guess now I know why my tags didn't work. I have a Mac. Thank goodness for this thread as well as for the search feature @dave gave us. I didn't have to ask someone why my tags weren't working.

I have an old MacBook Pro and tags have always worked fine for me so maybe the issues were corrected before I added my tagged photos.
