We had our house built in the year 2000 in one of my husbands farm fields over looking the Mississippi River. I have been working on the yard ever since. This is what things look like so far this year.
My first blooms.
Hyacinths just starting and then a couple days later.
Here are some metal baskets that I had been wanting to paint and put in my flower beds.
Finished ready to be placed throughout the yard.
Ferris wheel bed first pic taken 4/14 second taken 4/27.
Tulips on 4/19//same Tulips on 4/27.
Here are a couple Fairy Gardens that I made this year. My friend gave me the Fairy house and a few accessories as an early birthday gift.
Here is where they are in front of the house by the walk-in garage door. I still want to make a ladder to hang over the front of the washtub. I am always adding things or taking away things.
Another Tulip and a Pasque Flower.
That's all for now until more Tulips open up or other flower bloom. Happy gardening.

Jeanne-- Just beautiful and very creative. Your gardens are a job well done! Many blessings for your continued success!
One to take to heart....1 John 4 ..............................................Where there is smoke...there is fire...in most cases the smoke will kill you long before the fire consumes you. Beware of smoke screens! Freedom is not free and when those who have not paid the price or made the sacrifice...think that only they are right and entitled to speak...they bring us tryanny.
Thanks Nikki and Sharon. I really enjoy my time outside. I will post more pictures as my gardens grow. I still have a lot of garden décor to put out. Not enough hours in the day or days in the week for everything that needs to get done.
Pictures I took yesterday as it was starting to rain. These first 4 pics are the flag pole flower bed.

I like the outhouse bed. Something about the time saving quality of fertilizer right where you need it! Kidding aside your gardens are lovely. The colors are fantastic. I can not wait to see more pictures as it fills in!
May blessings surround you!

Thanks Sharon. I will try to find the time to post pictures. I have so many beds and all takes time. Hopefully little by little things will get done. These next pictures are the flower bed that funs along the back yard fence.

I need to get a couple truck loads of mulch and put it in most beds but I want to put a rock border around the beds first but need to go collect the rocks first. One of these days I will get around to it. I finished one bed except for the rocks so I will post pictures of it later.
Here's the north side triangle bed that I worked on yesterday. I keep adding things and taking away things but it is done except for the rock border and a little mulch.
The area behind and by the garden shed will be tilled up for my pepper, tomatoes, and vining plants.
