I really looked forward to seeing my Flowering Plum (Prunus x blireiana) bloom every year. It is just a pity it is so short-lived. This year, the first blooms opened on March 25 and it reached full bloom by March 30. Four days later it was all over. Of course the downpour we had on April 2 didn't help!
