Thread OP

Hi everyone,

I thought to post a picture I took today of my amateur garden. This is the first year I could do some outdoor gardening because before I used to live in an apartment and now moved to a house. I lied the stony path myself with some stones I collected in nature.
I planted this Abate Fetel pear under my window in order to eat a pear once I open my window in the morning. Smiling There are two Black currants on the lower left side of the picture. One Salix Repens Iona just a bit upper. One Acer Palmatum - Hana Matoi on the upper left side of the picture. On the far right side there is a grafted tree(which I got in a Sunday bazaar because I always wanted to have some red tree) with red foliage which might be Fagus sylvatica purpurea but I am not sure. On the lower right side there is a red rose. Spread around there are some marigolds, some mini roses and some Sedum sieboldii which cannot be noticed here. And all around there are some evergreens my dad planted(with the plan to make a privacy wall when they grow up) I haven't cut the grass because it's been rainy lately. It's really amateurish. Never have had any experience but I love doing it. Someday I spend nearly all day just staring at them.
