It's over 6 inches wide and almost as tall.

Nice!!! Reminds me of the very first Red Charm I saw in person--a cut flower at the UofM peony garden. Think my tongue practically rolled out of my head...Such a shame their season is so fleeting, don't think there is any other flower that can compare with the beauty of a peony.

Hi Frank, where did you purchase this Big Ben? Is it from Wild?

Purchased from jungled.com in 2014. It was in a collection.

"Paeonia 'Abalone Pearl'
Paeonia 'Big Ben'
Paeonia 'Dr. Alexander Fleming'

Do you have Kansas peony too, I'm trying to compare Kansas Vs Big Ben, which one is better to purchase, if I can't make up my mind, I might order 2 of each, I want a hedge of deep pink flowers.

I have Big Ben. Can't wait to see it bloom for the first time this year. I had it in a bad location and it struggled for the last few years. Looks like it is coming around this year.

Thanks Frank, I went back to last year post for herbaceous blooms and it seems like nobody posted like they are growing them. I have to wait and order later this year, I don't want to order from Wild and get a delivery, I have no space yet.
