I had it, and I liked the color and color pattern (it is hard to find nice tet lavenders), but I got rid of it earlier this year. The sepals tended to annoyingly stick out and sometimes kink, as opposed to recurving nicely. I'm also not sure that the blooms ever got to their registered size, but as the plant was in a pot, I have to finger that as the cause (the pot was probably drier than the ground would be).
I might have kept the plant despite the annoying sepals and smaller bloom size, but what got 'Mandalay Bay Music' punted from the garden was rust. It had some last year, it had more this year. It wasn't anywhere near the worst rust bucket that I have seen, but as I generally don't spray for rust, out it went. (I also got rid of its kid 'Calming Effect', which looks a LOT like 'Mandalay Bay Music', and similarly had rust issues.)
I will note that 'Wonder of It All', another 'Mandalay Bay Music' kid, is also rust prone here. (It is still here, mostly because I am trying to get a good near-white with more rust resistance from it.)
