The leaves of this Iris aren't variegated which leads me to believe it isn't Japanese Iris (Iris ensata 'Silverband'). In addition the leaves lack the prominent mid-rib characteristic of Japanese iris.


The flared (vs. drooping) falls, leaves and seed pod remind me more of Louisiana iris.
