Hi there,

I have a blue horizon passion vine that appears to be doing quite well in a very bright window (plus supplemental lights) in my home. This is my first time growing passion vines. As it had gotten bigger, I've noticed that small blackish raised bumps are appearing on the internodes and stems. They look fairly natural, but I cannot find any information related to this online.

A few photos are attached- any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Summer and welcome to NGA!!!

I'm thinking those are Extrafloral Nectaries - aka EFN's. Pretty much all Passion vines have them (along with other plants as well) but they are not nearly as pronounced as those are, Check them at different times of the day and see if you find any liquid on them or feel sticky.
