Hello! I'd like to plant a vine in a large pot to grow up the side of a garage. The ground is concrete, so a pot is a must. I'm new to gardening, and the person at the nursery said their perrenials would all die in a lot over winter. He suggested annual vines, but these seemed all to require full sun. Because of a tall fence nearby, the plant would get 4-5 hours of afternoon sun. In terms of looks, the other plants nearby ate white, pink, apricot, peach etc, so I'd like to steer clear of purples and blues, as well as very bright colors. Does this sound like anyone you know? Perrenials preferred (if it can winter in a pot), but annuals are fine too. Thanks!!!
