Sue , is there that much color difference between the flowers , or is it just camera light?
I did read the caption early / late season bloom.

It's most likely the camera and lighting. Possibly the temps too. When I have cooler overcast morning, my daylilies were always darker. Not sure if that applies to these 2 shots though, how cool FL. can be in the mornings. Shrug!
