I fix lamps for others in my area. Not many people do this unless your the handy DIYer. I also have a few lamps that were unfixable and created, for one, a coat/towel rack for my dogs.

I love the planter on the lamp pedestal. So simple, functional, yet looks like it always was. Hurray!
Its easy for me to believe in miracles when science can't explain why a blade of grass has its shape and that is just one plant and one attribute.

I could see a cascading fern or ivy in it. And a classic regal plant. Depending on the lamp base, the planter could take on a personality from classical to whimsy. How fun!
