I've tried to post a couple of landscape pictures today and I label them and then look at what should be the finished product and often several of the boxes have moved to other parts of the picture. So frustrating.....often I just delete them or post with out names which many people don't like.. Am I the only having this problem?

I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Plant Identifier
Probably the reason most people do not label their multi-plant photos.

I've had the same issue. In my case, the boxes all went to the left side of the photo. I saw in one of Paul's they all went to the bottom. Personally, I figure it is better to have crazy labels than no labels, simply because then the landscape photo will attach to each identified plant and be seen by more people. But...frustrating. One of the admins (CA Sue I believe) fixed one of mine, not sure what magic she has that I don't!

Deb....I may try and label them again this evening. Some labels are generic if I don't recognize the cultivar. Good point about the landscape photo labels being attached to the pictures of the individual plants, especially for new members or inexperienced gardeners.

Sue, sometimes it works fine, and other times it doesn't work. I haven't been able to figure out what is happening since I always use the same browser, etc.

I've had this problem for some time now and it discourages me from loading pictures. I contacted Dave about it several months ago. I just deleted the unlabeled pictures.....Guess I'm to dense to do it correctly........

Yeah, it's put me off of submitting landscape photos also. Unless they are labeled, I find them rather inconsequential. I'm lucky to see them on the day they are posted, but likely will never see one again without proper labeling. I think this is a really valuable addition to the database and hope it can be resolved.

I'm adding a few again. Sometimes the labels move and then I delete them and try again. Kind of a bother but.....
