50s and rain again today. I'm so tired of almost daily rain. I just hope this doesn't mean no rain later.

I had ice on the water puddles this morning, and 8 of the next 10 days have frost predicted.

Possible frost tonight. Only thing I brought in is my 4 pack of tomatoes. Everything else is on it's own.

We've already had our air on but off again now Supposed to get to 32 tonight

Coolish day, 50s with frost either tonight or tomorrow, can't remember. Tomato plants have been inside last few days due to the colder weather. Hard to find the 4 I have currently, locally, so they're protected. Unless the resident field mouse enjoys tomato plants and if so he's gonna feel my wrath more than he already is from us all.

Was hoping to get all the stuff that needed off my boat and trailer off today but my dad didn't call my brother despite me asking him TWICE this week to do so so now I'm behind again and not happy about it. Like to knock some heads together around here.

Garden wise, irises are budding up like crazy now. I need to still work on the weeds but I've been doing a little here and there and pruning here and there as well so it doesn't really look any better but we'll get there eventually.

Snow on the ground again this morning. My poor tulips have been frozen and thawed so many times this year. They're going to be stunted and bloom poorly I'm afraid.

In the 40s and breezy today.

50sm sunny and like it has been all spring, windy again. Just too cold for garden work. So did a little bit of stuff inside but mainly been lazy. Will try to do more stuff tomorrow.

It will be in the 20's here in the morning. That should make for some really strange looking irises if they even bloom.

25 degrees this morning. Not good, cherry tree is in bloom, apple and pear trees have buds ready to open, not sure what will happen to them. Several more nights of frost expected. Oh well, it is what it is.

Tom it seems that's the new normal anymore. Heavy freeze when fruit trees bloom.

Another chilly day so not sure what we'll get done. Lots of rain coming so I need to get my dad to call my brother and see how busy he is and if he can spare a couple hours today to come work on the boat. Gonna use red hot pokers on these guys to keep stuff moving.

I've been in full blown limping mode for a couple hours now. I walked out of a bedroom and stabbed my little toe on a box. I didn't hit it hard but got it just right and I'm still hurting from it which is unusual for me. Not broken but if I put weight on it that toe screams and I lose my balance a bit. So instead of organizing my closet or pulling weeds I'm sitting here on the computer being lazy and bored.

40s and sunny today. Hubby covered the compost bin to keep the Mallard family from trying to nest in it.
Too cold to work in the garden(for me), so I did some sewing.

I did pull some chickweed but called it good after that little batch. Wind just too cold.
