I know you all haven't heard from me in a long time, but much time has passed. Maybe I can help with the Brugs-.
Thumb of 2017-07-08/Ridesredmule/04fd0d. Yep, the mule is kicking in New pastures but the old lady still goes on. This is the Brugmansia Orange Julius. I got this'll start from Edna James, now known as Littlelady. Let's see if anyone remembers me. Love and hugs to all. I tip my hat to you.

Lovey dubby

I remember you! You sent me perfect little sculpty figures you had made and painted by hand! I still have them and put them on my Xmas tree each year!
I always wondered what happened to you. So glad to see you posting again! Now you have to show us some of your lovely brugs!

My Husband was diagnosed with Multiple Myloma and last year was really bad. But Thank God, it is gone and he is now up and working. It was rough going and I was his caretaker, But Now I can be social again.... Rolling on the floor laughing

Thumb of 2017-07-10/Ridesredmule/8e3d74 didn't have time to care for anything except Robert but I am back again and hope to see this page light up with action. This is Jason's Hope. New baby grown by Edna James aka Littlelady.
So happy you remember me, I remember you too!!! thank you.

I can certainly understand you dropping everything to take care of your husband.
Beautiful brug! Mine have pretty much shut down in the 100 degree days of July. I have a couple hanging in there. Hopefully the buds won't drop before I get some photos.

Brugs are fascinating plants. Tough yet weak. They are a challenge to grow but the blooms reward us and we forget the problems we have when we get a whiff of that wonderful perfume..

Hey Redmule, I remember you some 10 yers ago. We traded seeds several times. Thanks a million. Glad you are back in the saddle again. I know how a sick husband can make you forget the outside. But now its all yours to have more fun and friends. Alday

Well Redmule, I lost my husband 2 yrs ago and now I am anxious to get back to my garden. I have a few brugs but nothing like yours. I have white single, Yellow double, and purple/white double. I took lots of cuttings so maybe I will have a few more this year. I'll be watching your posts and learn some more about them. Good luck to you in the spring. Alday

I have a couple of single yellow NOID brugs. In the fall I cut them back to take them into the house for winter. For some reason all of the pruned branches have died back 6 or 7 inches. In some cases it went down past the Y area. Any idea why I had the die back? They are now coming back to life and sprouting leaves at the base and long the live parts of the stem, but the dead parts are really dead. I'm afraid if I cut that part off it'll die back even more. Have any of you had this happen?
