I have 2 raised beds of strawberries. The babies are shooting over the side and just dangling in the air. How can I get these put into soil? Can I sever them from the mother plant and put the baby in dirt to get roots and start growing or do I need to leave it connected to the mother plant until it gets embedded?

Thank you for your help.

I would leave them connected and put them on top of the soil. They will grow roots in time and then you can cut them from the main plant and plant it where you want it. Good Luck. Smiling
