I am not doing much in this heat but making plans for this fall of things that need to be improved. I have a Home Run rose that I planted too close to a path. It is kinda old, has to be trimmed to stay out of the path, and has several dead parts so needs to be replaced. I am going to dig it up and also a shrub behind it so I can plant a new rose midway between where the two plants currently are. Question for everyone is what rose to choose? I love the color of the HomeRun so want to stay in that range. It is a darker,truer red to me than Knockout. If there isn't anything better I'll find another, I am close to Antique Rose Emporium. Ideas?
