I have "Black Gamecock" louisiana iris....though I have to say that Pat's "Before the Storm" really does look black!

If you sent me an e-mail Suzy I did not see it. In any case, if the really black looking one is what you are interested in, I did check it and it really is looking too bad to do anything with right now. We have just finally had some good rains. If I get a chance, I'll try to clean up my iris patches and perhaps you can check with me towards the beginning of September to see if they look better.

Sounds good pat, I understand. I did send an email but my new account has been acting up. I just ordered some black iris from an iris farm so we'll see how that goes.

So sorry I could not be of help right now. Which ones did you order? The black ones can be really striking.
