Both C. cyanea and diffusa are separate accepted species according to the Catalogue of Life. I can move the image to generic Dayflower (Commelina) entry, the original submitter got the photo from a public source and is no longer a member.

TYVM! I thought they different species too but was finding conflicting info. It does not look like what I know as C. diffusa, with its' distinctive "hooked" looking top petals, smaller 3rd petal, and more faded color. http://www.missouriplants.com/...
