Hi, for the life of me I can't seem to find the section to edit our signature ?

By signature, do you mean your User ID which is Spicysweetie? If I'm not mistaken, I think admin. @Dave has to change that for you.

No I mean like your ~eat, sleep....play in the dirt~ quote ?

Oh, okay ... go to your profile page. Click on Change your public profile. Scroll down the page to where you see Forum Posts: Brief message to appear at the bottom of your posts. Type in your message and don't forget to click on the green box at bottom left that says Save your changes.

Has this changed? The only things I see on edit my public profile are

first name
last name
location
hardiness zone
birthday
photo

As Lin said, click change your public profile. It's there, near the bottom, right above your avatar.

Maybe it's a new account thing? I see them now, but cross my heart they weren't there last week.

Uh-oh, prove me wrong, but there is currently no "brief message" option with which to have a quote/signature. Could that be not allowed anymore? (Could I be blind, but I used CTL F to find "brief" and nothing. )

On my profile page, when I select Change your public profile, I see the following blank boxes to fill in the information.

Your first name or nickname

Your last name

Your location

Your USDA hardiness zone

Your Birthday

Your interests and hobbies: Tell us a couple sentences about yourself (this will show up on your profile page):


Forum posts: Brief message to appear on top of your posts, 35 letters maximum:



Forum posts: Brief message to appear at the bottom of your posts:


Your avatar photo

I suspect the signature field isn't available for the first couple of weeks, much like the restriction on posting hyperlinks.

and I also forgot about the fact that new members aren't given some site options until they've been here a week or two.

I just signed up today, and there is no such option for "forum posts."

PlantingOaks is not going crazy. It's a "new account" thing.
