Flowing Cactus

Unidentified striking Cactus at Chicago Botanical Gardens
Follow up: 9:05 pm 7/21/17 Just checked the Chicago Botanical Plant Directory and this particular cactus is listed as "Madagascar Ocotillo Alluaudia procera" Attached is also the original photo. So everyone is correct, and I learned something. 😊 Thank you Dave and Baja.

My first thought was, "Wow, that's cool." Lo and behold, it's another fine shot by the Queen with the hat. Smiling Very nice, Dame Fleur.

One name for the plant is Madagascar or False Ocotillo (not a true ocotillo but the equivalent from Madagascar).

Madagascar Ocotillo (Alluaudia procera)
Fantsiolotse (Alluaudia ascendens)

I realized I had not seen most of the banners somehow. So, I just went down the whole list. So far two have made me lose my mind with admiration. Yours is one of them. Really cool. I so admire such keen vision. Thank you.
