I assume the tree w the white bark is an aspen? What are those small bright colored flowers at the end of your first row of photos? primrose I'm guessing?

Hi Frilly, thank you for the nice compliments on my garden. The bright flowers are dianthus, they come in pinks, red and combinations of the two, they are great, very tough little plants that return each spring for a few years, then they start to die out. The tree is a cottonwood, lovely but annoying as it is constantly sending up shoots all over the place.
