I'm putting together a buy of hyacinth bulbs. Specifically, I'm buying the following
- Carnegie (Bright white)
- Dark Dimension (relatively new and pricey)
- Jan Bos (Magenta)
- Peter Stuyvesant (an old deep blue- purple that is hard to find)
- Yellow Queen (a true yellow, unlike the easier to find City of Haarlem, which is a very soft yellow)

Bulbs come in lots of 5, 10, 25 and 100. The more ordered, the better the price.

From Dutch Grown:
Carnegie - 35 (68¢ each, next price break at 100)
- RickM (20)
- 5601Lisa (15)

Dark Dimension - 25 ($4.25 each, next price break at 100)
- RickM (15)

Jan Boss - 35 (76¢ each, next price break at 100)
- RickM M (15)
- 5601Lisa (15)

Yellow Queen - 35 (76¢ each, next price break at 100)
- RickM (20)
- 5601Lisa (15)

I can only find Peter Stuyvesant at 3 growers. The cheapest being Brent and Becky's (Lots of 5, 25, 50, 250)

Peter Stuyvesant - 25 (86¢ each)
- RickM (25)

Please let me know ASAP. (Additional 5% off if ordered by 01-Aug-17)

I am in for Carnegie, Jan Boss and Yellow Queen, as many as 15 of each variety if needed. Btw, did find results of Dark Dimension lacking.

Last chance on the hyacinths. I'll be placing the order on Friday, 04-Aug-2017, after 9:00pm

Ok all of you bulb lovers!

I'm going to be placing an order with Greenhouse Megastore fro some bulb 'pans'. Specifically, the Panterra bowls:
Thumb of 2017-08-05/RickM/09c2e0

I'm going to use them for amaryllis gifts and for hyacinth.

I'm not sure if I want the 8 or 10 inch bowls, which are 4 and 5 inches tall respectively. Jill, do you think 3 amaryllis bulbs will fit in the 10" bowl?

I was thinking of spray painting the bowls with a glitter paint for the holiday set-ups, which would consist of a bowl, a bag of potting mix and the bulbs.

Is anyone interested in some of these bowls? The cost is $1.75, $2.00, $3.13 and $3.50 each in quantities less than 100 each size.

sorry, thought I'd posted a response... 3 of the jumbo amaryllis would be pretty tight in 10" pot, 12" would be better.

Not a problem.

The Peter Stuvesant are on their way. I'm getting 40 of those, too. Did you want any of them?

Sure I'll buy some. Have a stopover in Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Flower/bulb/seed shop in duty-free. Yippee!
