Are you growing from seed or cuttings? I saw some beautiful ones at a rest stop once. I did find seeds there, and tried them, but they didn't grow for me.
These are grown from seeds. They are very easy to sprout but they do need to be stratified for 2 months before they germinate. The Crepe Myrtles Database
