Are you referring to the star? If so it lets you store favorite posts, but it has been there a long time.

The star had been replaced by a disk. I had missed the change.

I still have a star! What does the disk look like?

I changed the star icon to a bookmark icon. If you're still seeing it as a star, shift-refresh the page.

I just starred a post, but had to do a bit of brain-searching to 'remember' that the star changed to whatever the trash-can thing represents, I guess a book with a bookmark hanging out? It's not resonating with me, but most icons make zero sense to me so not a surprise. Gotta say I preferred the star. It was simple and clean. Not an issue, just a comment. I'll get used to the trash-can even though it is counter-intuitive to what I want to do.

Although I know it's a book with a bookmark, the all-gray coloration makes it look more like a gravestone to me!

Its gray till you click on it then it becomes yellow with a red bookmark.

When in doubt place the cursor over the item in question, should bring up an explanation, at least it works on a Mac.

I think it depends on the browser you use as for which one you see. Mine is a star on my main one and a bookmark on Chrome.

I was on Chrome, but on my older laptop -- I probably need to reboot it. I have the bookmark thing on the newer laptop. (someday I'll finally get everything moved to the new one and quit switching back and forth...)

It is most likely a cache problem. Try clearing your brower's cache or pressing CTRL+F5 to force a refresh of the page. The site experience should be pretty consistent between desktop browers.
