Hello
I have three well rooted brugmansia cuttings. I don't know the varieties name but it is a white one. I also have three additional ones that are still going through the rooting process, two are pink and one is yellow. Anyway for the established three white ones, I was wondering just how often I should be feeding them. So far all I've given them is Dr. Earth organic 3-9-4 dry fertilizer that I had let steep in water for about 8 hours and then poured it into my plants. That was last week and since I keep reading that Brugs like to be fed quite a bit, I was wondering when should I feed them again and how often? On the directions it says for established plants in the ground about every other month, and says for new plants about every 8 weeks. It then has a section under it for container plants but doesn't specify how often to feed?
Also I've read that you should only fertilize during the growing season and do not fertilize when they are getting ready to go dormant during winter. Since I live in San Diego county, Southern California zone 10a...does this apply? Where I live I don't think we have ever gotten a frost especially since I live near the coast. Oh also I first potted up and started rooting the cuttings on 6-7-17, by about 7-17-17 they were all rooting, I potted them all up around 7-31-17.
The first two photos are of the cutting that is about 6" or so. The second two photos are of the cutting that is only about an inch taller in length than the first, so about 7", however it is about twice as thick in circumference. The third two photos are of the smallest cutting only about 4".
Sorry if that is too much info. π
Thank you
