Take Pictures for the Database!

Help grow our plant database: When I go to a public garden, I take a shot of the plant tag before I shoot the plant. That way I have all the info ready, especially for the ATP plant database.

That's the part I love about taking photos when we travel. Some of the plants I only see online. It's fun to add plants that we can't grow, to the database.
It's also a lot of fun researching the plant online to fill in the information for the entry. Hurray!
Great way to learn more about plants.

How are you doing over on your beautiful island?

I photograph all kinds of fruits, vegetables and even flowers in the stores small floral section. I did many different varieties of apples. Then I spent a couple of hours in the
Internation Food Market while visiting family in VA. Oh my goodness, I saw fruits and vegetables I'd never seen before. I had a ball entering many of them in the database here at ATP.
Walmart, Home Depot, Costco and Lowe's are all great places to get awesome photos of all kinds of plants, fruits and vegetables. Thumbs up
