My garden's in the city.
This is the time of year I go through all the catalogs, mark everything I want and fill it in on the order form.
THEN I whittle down to what I can find a suitable place to plant.
THEN I whittle down to what I can afford.
And if the money appears before the catalog is out of date, I order.
If not, I throw it all away - still had the "shopping" fun, just didn't get my hands dirty.
There's enough to tend.
And to propagate more of.
