For two of the categories such as such as 'Wildlife and Plants' and 'Miscellaneous/Other', what are the rules/guidelines so we can avoid having our images in the wrong place. Or are there rules and guidelines that I missed?

The "Miscellaneous/Other" is everything that doesn't fit a category.

If it is a photo that involves plants and wildlife (think of things like a hummingbird visiting a salvia), then it goes into the first category you mentioned there.
