It is based on my 35 years of professional experience caring for plants in homes and offices and answering tens of thousands of specific plant care questions online, via email and over the phone. I have also made hundreds of Plant Doctor housecalls in NYC.

If you have more than a couple of indoor plants and are eager to learn how professionals care them, you will want to add this book to your collection. It is not encyclopedic covering thousands of plants. Rather it provides in-depth information not found elsewhere on caring for the 50 most commonly used indoor houseplants.

I received my book yesterday and I highly recommend it for young people who may be new to growing houseplants as well as "older" folks like me who have been tending plants indoors for many years. The book is written in a manner that is very easy to understand and offers great tips on watering, re-potting, soil, light, etc.

This book has been put on my list to buy, since all of my plants grow indoors. Looking forward to reading it soon.
