Mike, I just received my box of bulbs. For the most part, they are very nice and for the price, I don't think they could be beat. Thanks again for doing this co-op. Green Grin!

I keep forgetting to post if you sprinkle cinnamon in on the bulb it will deter any fungus from setting in. I have used it for many years for rhizomes, bulbs ect. I would also put a little bone meal mixed in the dirt around the bulb and roots.

I use cinnamon and also a little peroxide in the watering bottle, just a table spoon or so per gallon, it has hydrogen and is good for the plants. Some people are using it outside also. Thumbs up

Yes, I use peroxide outdoors as well. Very helpful. I use this chart for dilution ratios.

i hope all works out...
HERE IS A TIP I AM NOT SURE ANY OF YOU KNOW OR HOW MANY. DUT TO HOW MUCH ENERGY THE BULB USED TO PRODUCE FLOWERS YOU CAN CUT THE FLOWER SPIKE AFTER I SAY 2 FLOWERS OPEN PUN IN A VASE OF WATER WITH ABOUT 1 TEA SPOON OF SUGAR AND A FEW DROPS OF BLEACH. THE REMAINING FLOWERS SHOULD OPEN GREAT AND THEY LAST A LONG TIME; BY DOING THIS IT REDUCES THE AMOUNT OF ENERGY THE BULB USES! HERE I A PIC OF FLOWERS THESE ARE IN WATER 5 DAYS ( BROKE THE STEM THAT'S WHY SO SHORT ) TODAY THE LAST FLOWER IS FULLY OPENED AND ALL ARE STILL FRESH. THIS TIP CAME FROM A GROWER AND SHIPPER OF CUT FLOWERS.

Very good tip Mike, Thanks. Hurray! I bet this is good for a lot of other plants as well. Also have you ever heard of using an asprin in the water. I know we always used it in our cut Christmas trees. Smiling
