I want everyone to know how much I appreciate their views and votes for my photos. I purchased a digital camera in 2012 and because I don't get around like I used to, I shoot a lot of pictures in my backyard. I especially like growing and photographing iris.
Thanks again to Bluestone Perennials and all those who voted. Ken

@kfbf2 Ken, you have a very good eye for composition, so congratulations for all of your winning photos. They are gorgeous! I know I voted for the 1st place winning photo in the first round. What kind of flowers are those? I feel like the name is right on the tip of my tongue, but I can't think of it, lol!

I know the type of camera you shoot with is only one part of the equation, but I would love to know what kind of camera you purchased.

Again, Congrats!

kfbf2,

WOW! Nice back yard! Thumbs up

Love the image of the field of flowers with the layered misty mountains in the distance.
Somewhere in Idaho? What are the flowers? Just before sunrise?
Glad you were there to capture that magic moment & share it with us.

I'll have to check out all your images.

Congrats & Thanks! Smiling
