Do log off between sessions.

However at some point after joining up, I'd entered my name typo as carolen to log in. Re-typed as carolem and all was good.

Still though, every time I log in, it comes up as carolen and I have to delete the last alpha to access my account.

How can I fix this? Small issue but perhaps it can be remedied?

Does your browser auto-complete log-ins? If so you may want to look at your saved log-in info in the browser settings and delete carolen. Not sure if that's the problem but just in case it is....I'm wondering if the browser saved carolen when you typed it in by mistake.

Sue is right, your browser is storing this wrong. Just go into your browser saved passwords area, delete the one for garden.org, and next time you login it'll ask you again to save it.

Sue .. and Dave, MS Edge is ultra-secure browser that won't allow anyone to access password history - this case stored user-name. Even me Smiling

Seems no way around this one - was my typo somewhere along the way so I will be reminded each time to fix it.

Appreciate your suggestions; and since I couldn't access the browser settings concerned myself, I just phoned MS and was given the above info to confirm what I've written here.

To finish off it probably was a poor choice of words for me to have written 'log in has a gremlin' when it isn't the system that created it.

This happened to me when I made a typo when logging in. What fixed it for me was deleting the incorrect spelling when I clicked on login and the incorrect spelling appeared in the drop down box. Note that I deleted this in the drop down box, not the login box. I then entered the correct spelling in the login box. The next time I logged in (and thereafter) the correct spelling appeared.

But I'm using Firefox so I don't know if this will work for you.

Connie thanks for your input. I'd already tried that too, and just went back again to double-check.

No options given to me when I right-click while hovering over the black (user-name) drop-down bar. Sighing!
