@chickhill this photo actually shows the plant in full bloom - the flowers don't open more than that. The primary feature of this hibiscus is the variegated foliage.

I love the way each set of blooms are centered & surrounded by several leaves which seem more like petals.
I think they are synergistic together. Smiling
