Black Beauty is a garden 'star', very vigorous and loads of flowers (which can bloom over a period of 8 weeks plus). Mine start when the Orientals are blooming.

Those are Amaryllis bulbs saved over the years from gifts given to me each Christmas by my mother-in-law before she passed away. Great plants. Thank you for the compliment.

I love this lily too! It was developed by a local gentleman, Leslie Woodruff. I visited his gardens and green houses years ago. A field full of lilies and a shade house full of the most spectacular begonias. I think he was also responsible for the Stargazer also. Sadly he is no longer with us and his gardens are gone also. Lovely to see his life's work cherished and so much appreciated!
