I have another flower bed that I struggle with. It is in full sun has a small mimosa and a garden seat with some stepping stones. I planted several day lily in it and they did not survive. I'm not sure why they just never came back after a few seasons. I then switched to roses and I had problems with black spot and beetles. I have pretty much made up my mind that I should just put low shrubs in it. I just love flowers more than shrubs. Any suggestions?
