I'm starting to get a lot of info about upcoming gardening events in the DFW area. Aside from the fact that I have no idea how many members live in the area, or would travel here, I didn't know if it's appropriate to list events about the birds and the bees (ahem).

Some examples:
On 1/21there's going to be a bird count on a stretch of the Trinity River.
On 2/3 there's a free class on Attracting Birds to the Garden
And then there are periodic classes related to bees but I've lost my examples.

Just wanting to share info but don't want to get too off topic. I don't plan to list painting or watercolor workshops. And I have no idea what the Dot-a-Rock Workshop would be. However, the Workshop with Wine: Modern Succulents does sound tempting. 😝

So anyway, before I clutter up the Events section, please let me know what's appropriate. Thanks.

I don't know if there are any rules about what can or can't be posted there, but I think anything related to the garden would be appropriate, including information about insects, birds, pests, etc. The wine and succulents is for sure a happening thing!

North Haven Gardens has a number of 'Wine and . . .' workshops. That's one reason I really like that garden center.

Events should be gardening related. If an event is about birds or other wildlife with no direct connection to gardening, it's best to leave it not listed.

Ok. Thanks for the reply, dave. Since I hadn't heard much in terms of yay or nay I finally posted one last night. Can I delete it or, if not, can you? At least it's for this weekend so it should roll off soon.
