This is a plant that I'm not familiar with, but it makes a fantastic banner, Dirt!

wow, that's an old one I submitted long ago
kinda wishing I'd had a bit better focus Blinking *Blush*

anyway, here is how cute the plant was back then

it grew a lot, and so did the plant next to it...and last year it was being smothered.
I tried to relocate part of it Crossing Fingers! we'll see how well that worked this spring

Beautiful... thanks for showing the photo of the plant as well.

Does it have a fragrance? The blooms in your banner almost resembled the milkweed blooms.

No, not a significant fragrance
but to be fair
the plant that smothered it, a daphne, smells so incredibly scrumptious it'd be hard to notice if this one smelled good too

Thanks, I just read that the foliage had more fragrance than the blooms. And apparently the foliage can be dried and used for that reason.

I've heard Daphne is wonderful too. Spring fever is working on me... Whistling

Lovely banner, and a plant that's new to me, too. The banner made me think of confetti and brought a smile. Thanks for all of that. Really appreciate the "cute back then" shot. Fine job all around. Thumbs up

Very nice plant & banner. Woodruff is new to me also; and it makes a nice rock garden display in the picture! Thumbs up
