This is a test on Sempervivum & Jovibarba Forum, about how long new forumists are restricted from adding URLs and web links. I was given the notice when I joined about this restriction was in force, but no one seems to know for how long. I have been the lead forum Moderator for the North American Rock Garden Society (NARGS) for many years, and the older ListServ of Alpine-L for the past 7 years, how long will I be prohibited from adding links to posts. So, I will merely try it every now and then.

This is a link to an older NARGS Forum discussion on semps, let's see if it is allowed.

Okay, it worked, I can now post URLs. But no definitive answer on the duration of the prohibition "new user" restriction. I'm guessing 2 weeks.

I've been guessing it's a month, but it's good you can now post links. It doesn't sound like you're a danger to our site. Rolling on the floor laughing

Hopefully not Karen, for the past 10 years I've been lead Moderator on two plant forums (and Spam Protector) among many titles. This site is awesome with Semp enthusiasm, I'm a big fan, and I still have lots to learn. And I know you were just kidding me, we're all here to enjoy our true interest in these awesome plants, hazzah!
