I got this salvia from Flowers By The Sea in 2013. I loved the gorgeous orange flowers when it finally started blooming in early September of that year. I only got to grow it that one year, since FBTS made it a Special Order plant after that.

Just wondering if you tried to root cuttings when you had it?

@GaNinFl, The flowers are bright orange, including the bracts, not red.

Hmmm wondering if my color is a bit off on the ol monitor or is it my eyesight...

It's a beautiful plant. It does look more red than orange on my monitor. When I had bad cataracts the reds looked orange to me.

I was in love with every flower that bloomed and drooled over them!
