Does anyone out there have a Millfield Rose Pelargonium plant, cutting or seeds that they are willing to share with me.


I took this picture many years ago when my beautiful plant was only about two years old.

Sadly, I lost my plant several years ago. The woman I got my cutting from has since passed away. Her children, not being plant lovers, tore out all of her beautiful plants. Gorgeous roses, geraniums, pelargoniums, day lilys, an enormous herb collection -- all gone.

Please help if you can. I can take cuttings from my roses. I have a climbing yellow peace rose, a pink Queen Elizabeth, a spicy scented, nearly fluorescent (summer bloom) orange and pink rose whose name is Montezuma I believe. When it blooms in cooler times of the year, the color is mellower. I also have a beautifully scented medium pink rose with scalloped petals which, I have been told is Constance Fry.
If not roses, I have many seeds I could trade with you. Just let me know what you can use and hopefully I'll have it.

Did you ever get your cuttings. I have this & it's called pink rosebud or Rococo. I am in Carmichael, CA close to Sacramento. I am membership chairman for the Sacto. Geranium Club.

No I have not.

I have been looking for this plant for many, many years and have not found it anywhere. I had received a cutting from this plant over 35 years ago from a woman who sold pippin apples in Watsonville, California. After she died her kids ripped out all of her beautiful plants. I would love to trade you for anything that I might have that interests you. I have seeds I have several rosebushes and several other geraniums. I also have a number of succulents. My geraniums are nothing as special as what you call rosebud.

Please let me know if we can arrange a trade or some other arrangement for a cutting of your plant. I would be most gratefully appreciative.
