I, too, cannot believe you read the entire posting. Congratulations!

At onel level it is a pretty thorough explanation for why I can never answer the question "How many roses do you have" with perfect accuracy - even if everyone else could. At another level, I suppose there is an echo of Hume's skepticism about the things we 'know to be true.'

I do appreciate the interest. And I hope you found some small pleasure in it - evein if it was in eventually getting to the end.
