One thing I've learned about stolons... if you can imagine it, they can do it. They no longer surprise me.
But it does seem kinda like they're stretching for light. I suspect they are indoors?
If indoors without sufficient light, they tend to be warm which makes them think it's time to grow but without sunlight they get stetchy and etiolated. Where is this guy living?

Garage on cold days, outdoors on warm days. Shipment arrived early. Was wondering about the one that was thickened.

Greg they will be fine once outdoors full time. The thinner stolons are the ones that look weak, but they should strengthen once outdoors. Which cultivar is it?
