Please direct me to the database entry for my image of Acacia baileyana Purpurea, which shows blue-purple flowers, in contrast the the yellow flower images already uploaded to the entry by that name.

I saw that entry but was concerned because the flowers are yellow, whereas the flowers in my image are blue-purple. Do they all go in the same entry regardless of flower color?

Both the flower and foliage look different than all the entries in our database and online info. This may just be a mismarked plant, in which case you could put it on the ID forum to see if you can get a correct ID or confirmation that there are purple flowered forms with different leaves (sounds like a stretch but who knows). It appears that the 'purpurea' in the name is referring to the leaves rather than the bloom. Is this at a nursery or botanical garden? If so, you could also check with the curator.

I agree that the flowers should be yellow, like the species, and the plant ID forum would be your best bet for identifying a purple flowered Acacia.
