I just wanted to give a shout out to all of our amazing database administrators with a huge for all that you do in keeping our plant database as accurate as possible.

I enjoy browsing the database and reading about so many different types of plants and I'm amazed at the growth of the NGA plant database over the past few years. With what seems like constant changes in the plant world, I can only imagine the amount of research involved in trying to keep on top of the information to make sure it's up to date. Because of your constant hard work and effort, the NGA Plant Database is a huge asset for all of us here on garden.org, as well as for the world wide gardening community!

I appreciate your patience when we make data errors because I know that it adds to your workload and I know it must be frustrating for you to have to decline data submissions and notify us about the errors. I thank each and every one of you for all that you do; please know that your hard work is very much appreciated!

Yes, for all your hard work behind the scenes. That level of detail and attention makes the database work so well for everyone, both users and contributors. I would like to express particular thanks to you for your patience in dealing with sometimes cantankerous gardeners and your continuous efforts to keep up to date with all the name changes as they roll through.

Not for nothing, Lin deserves a pat on the back as well for sleuthing out all sorts of errors and discrepancies in this forum.
