I recently came across about 20 vintage Burpee Seed Catalogs at an estate sale. They date from 1964 through 1984 (not complete decades, unfortunately) and include a 1975 reprint of the 1888 Farm Annual Catalog, and two hardbound 'books' ( 1975 & 1976)with the public catalog for that year, as well as the Blue List (Commercial / Wholesale) and the Red List (Seedsmen and Dealers Wholesale). All of these catalogs appear to have been 'collected', rather than 'used' and are in very nice condition.
Wondering where I find a collector that would really appreciate these - a collector?
**Turns out, these were apparently owned by someone who worked at Burpee, and the back of the 1980 catalog has an inscription from W. Atlee Burpee IV ....the great grandson of the founder, W. Atlee Burpee.
